A sustainable packaging partner for Indian brands. We check what your packaging can honestly claim, then help you make it better, from design and materials to manufacturers and launch.
The words on your pack are advertising.
The CCPA's greenwashing guidelines came into force. Green claims have to be backed up, qualified, and clear about whether they mean the product or the packaging.
There's no small-brand exemption. Brands carved out of plastic EPR rules are not carved out of this.
Under the Consumer Protection Act, a label or a wrapper counts as an advertisement.
Most brands aren't being careless. Claims just end up on packs nobody has checked. Right now is the cheapest moment to find out.
The Spill It report
R01What we looked at
Every part of your pack, outer, inner, closure, label, adhesive and ink, recorded as received, with the claims printed on it.
R02What it's actually made of
The material of each part in plain terms, and whether the pack is one material or mixed. Mixed is where most problems start.
R03What happens to it after use
What can be recycled, what can be composted and what has nowhere to go, in the places you actually sell. Judged against real collection and processing, not the symbol on the pack.
R04Your claims, checked one by one
Every sustainability claim you make, on the pack or online, with a clear verdict on each: supported, partly supported, not supported, or can't tell yet.
R05Credentials you could earnWhere the value is
Which recognised credentials your packaging is close to, and exactly what would have to change to qualify.
R06What to change, rankedWhere the value is
Recommendations ordered by cost against impact, cheapest wins first, with anything that needs a new supplier flagged separately. If you want help making the changes, we can do that with you.
R07Sources
What every finding rests on, so you can check the work and take it to a retailer or a supplier.
Beyond the report
ServicesThe report shows you where your packaging stands. Everything after that, we can do with you.
Packaging design
A new pack or a redesign, built around what the audit found. Structure, layout and label wording that holds up.
Material selection
The materials that fit your product, your budget and where you sell, compared side by side before you commit.
Finding manufacturers
We look for suppliers who can make it, brief them and connect you, including ones that take smaller orders.
Taking it to market
How to talk about your packaging on the pack, your site and Instagram, so the story sells and still holds up.

Plain language.
No jargon and no hedging. If it can't be said simply, it doesn't go in the report.
One point of contact.
You work with the person doing the audit, from the first audit to the finished pack. Nothing gets lost in a handover.
Whatever stage your packaging is at, a first idea, a pack already on shelf or a relaunch, start with Spill It and we'll take it from there.
